Graduate Degree? Post Graduate Degree?

Whether you are just starting your undergraduate degree or your are at end of it, there is never a wrong time to think about what your next steps are. For many that can be applying for jobs….and for other it could be applying to graduate schools. For both myself and my blog mate, graduate school was our option! At the time it seemed, and even now, there were many major selling points to staying in school. First was my marketability to corporate world. My undergraduate degree was in architecture but if there was ever a recession or major reason to stop building- I’d be in hot water. Secondly, it would give a much appreciated boost to my salary and coupled well with my first degree. For my blog mate, he also appreciated the boost it would give his future salary. He also wanted to open up other avenues within the world of engineering by understand the business side of his profession. We both pursed an MBA to help us acquire the goals we were looking for! Maybe a graduate degree can do the same for you. Whether that degree is within communication or another school its worth looking into!

Well over half of COMM students are a dual major, with students coming from every other school at RPI! There are also loads of minors that any RPI student can enjoy. A large part of classes at RPI for any major is the HASS requirement. It basically requires all students to take a good amount (4-6) of humanities courses during their 4 years.
